Playing one NBA game today pretty big. Even though it's a play against my team :(

Playing:

LA Clippers -8.5


Some analysis.....Clippers are back home after a brutal 6 game road trip and should be ready and well rested. They've been off since Tuesday.

Focus should not be a problem as well.....On deck for LA is Portland who they beat last time out.

The LA Clippers play very well at home: 16-7
The Cavs are dismall on the road: 4-17

The Cavaliers on the other hand are in total disarray. They've lost 8 straight.....losing by an average margin of 15 points. To make things worse, I can't see them having the energy to stay with the Clips. The Cavs are playing their 6th straight road game and 8th road game in the last nine.

The Cav's who have struggled on defense will not fare better tonight either. They have given up an average of 102 pts their last 10 games. Cleveland is a tired team right now and defense will not be a strong point for the Cav's in this game.

May add a small wager on the over a little later.

Is there anything to the idea that teams on the last game of a long road trip play their best? I've read this more than once and wonder if it's legit.......

(I believe this is Cleve's last game of a six gamer on the road)

nighthorse....in certain situations that might be the case, but not in this case.....especially not the game tonight. Cleveland is not playing well as a team. and being on the long west coast road trip....their LACK OF DEFENSE will show tonight. Can't see the Cavs staying with them. The Clips should get plenty of open looks and should rack up the pts tonight.

Rough night :mad: :mad: Hopefully I can share some winners rather than losers. There WILL be better days....just one of those nights.
