Eric Smith of USA Today picks UCLA to win by at most 3 points. Smith is one of the best cappers for college football. If I recall correctly one week he went 18 & 1 not ATS but approx. 14 & 4 ATS. I'm not much on a record that's just for one week. I do recall that he was approx. 68% for the year. I'm surprised no one else posted his picks here. Thought you would feel better knowing he's on the same side as you. Here's his picks. Have a Merry Xmas. Joe

Here are his picks and address if you want to read more.

Interesting article in Orange County Register detailed Toledo's disappointment at how he was dismissed. According to him and som assistants, they have never seen anyone run out quite like this. He definitely wanted to coach final game and say farewell to his players, but never got the chance. Athletic dept. says he had chance to say good-bye chose not to do so. Others dispute that. Supposedly Toledo called several players, including guys like Paus who came out against him once he was fired. Don't really know who is in charge of team - the guy they have named is basically an academic advisor, so I suppose assistants are running the show. Tough to gauge how this team will play.

My only memory of New Mexico this year is that 49-0 debacle against Texas Tech.I can't pull the trigger on them after watching that disaster:eek:

With SC loyalties, I always enjoy seeing the Bruins lose. But not sure I can take the generous points here. would never give the points either, as there is not telling what kind of mood this team is in. UCLA falters when they cannot run the ball. Their QB's just don't measure up. But I would guess they have a size advantage on offensive line. If they can run here, they might cover.
