We (two couples) are going to Vegas in July from Kansas City for four or five nights. We are pretty open as far as travel dates (7th thru the 18th departure), I am looking all over the internet for the best deal, I feel like between our play and the Las Vegas Advisor we can get some great deals on rooms out there. We usually stay downtown or off of the strip. My question is where do I find the cheapest flights or deals? Is it possible to set up a package deal with flight for 4-5 nights and the room for only 1 or 2 nights? It has been a long time since we have been out there and we're really excited!! Any help is apprecaited!

I used Expedia when I just went out for the first time, and it worked pretty well....I didnt compare prices with if I did air/hotel individually, but it came out pretty reasonable for the hotel/air package depending on what flight you pick and where you stay, you can pick any number of days for hotel/air, hotels.com I've heard is good too, but expedia had packages and really easy to use and reasonably cheap of course I stayed at a dump Sahara but it was fine for my purposes...wish I could go out again:scared

Thanks for the help guys! Right now it looks like Orbitz is cheapest for flights only, travelocity is cheaper for packages and a tool that I downloaded called travelaxe is the best hotel price finder. It is pretty cool. So far it looks like we are going to book a flight only and then use the 2-4-1 coupons from Las Vegas Advisor to get our rooms. Thanks again for all of your help. Anyone else have anything?

On the course!
Well, if you get a package with the room included, forget about getting any discount on the room with "comps".

July is prime pickin' for great rates out there. (It's the worst time of the year to go!)
