Don't know if the Twins have the edge or not. They have been lucky so far not to have a run score. The relievers have not looked sharp to me.

Hope Angels relievers are not sharper.

One hell of a long inning. Lucky to get out of that one.

Hope Twins bats do better against relief than Washburn.

Rodriguez is a stud. Only 20 years old. What???

Twins are in trouble. Their only chance with Rod is to catch a fastball and knock it out of the park.

Twins were toast when they couldn't get to the 9th tied at 1. Percival is tough and it doesn't hurt to have a good defense behind you.

Congrats Angels backers. I still think the Twins were worth a shot at +180.

England, u.k.
Twins have 4 hopes

Twins have 4 hopes

This is the reason the twins have 4 hopes.

Hope #1 is bob HOPE
the Twins offense is so poor it cannot just be the Angels pitching, swing, swing, swing

Hope #2 is maurice HOPE (british boxer)
No attempt to engineer runs, no stolen bases, no sacrifice flies, no bunts.

Hope #3 is envelOPE
Lets take it from the top of 7th. Runner to 1st no outs, batter 2 flied out to left on first pitch, batter 3 flied out to right on fourth pitch, batter 4 doubles to deep left. Now I know the runner scores but where is the offense trying to move the runner along. It appears the Twins want to belt the casing off the ball.
Now on the other hand the Angels come to bat bottom of the 7th. First batter walked, second batter sacrificed to first, moved runner over, enough said. When the Angels need something to happen they make it happen, left bases loaded in the 7th but first bat in bottom of 8th, home run.
Then when the Twins need something to happen Percival pitches 7 deliveries for 3 outs.

So therefore hope #4 is

NO F@%KING HOPE

LOL. :p

I'd like to see the Angels take the series, but gotta remember the Twins were down 2-1 to the A's. All they have to do tomorrow is win and the series is tied!

AND REMEMBER, THERE'S NO HOPE IN DOPE.
