Fairfield +1.5....pleasantly suprised that the team I picked to be a darkhorse in this tournament is a dog in their first game so I'm taking a shot. The first round bye has been big historically in this tournament, and Manhattan's bench is not deep enough to not be effected by the back to back nights. Fairfield will have the best player on the floor in Gai, who will clog up the middle and make things tough for Manhattan to run their offense. Fairfield played a tough out of conference schedule for a MAAC school to get ready for this tournament, and it should pay off with a win tonight. The only reason they are getting points is because Manhattan gets a lot of respect based on their history in this tournament, but this is not the same Jasper team we've seen in the past.
