Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
I was one of the "Smart" ones who had Bowling Green and the Under tonight, HAHAHAHAHAHA............
Along with just about everyone else here at MJ's tonight. My mistake was I did not have enought time to cap this game myself, the real job has taken over the last two months!!
So anyway, what was our mistake in taking this side?
Hella's thread about field conditions made total sense, the angles pointing to home field advantage, hard to beat the same team twice in a season, Josh Harris has never lost at this home field, The red Birds were in a 56-22ATS play against scheduling situation, field/weather points to a running game=running game=Bowling Green= UNDER!;)

This should be an interesting thread, although I doubt many will respond:rolleyes:

The mentality of us gamblers is to look directly for the next piece of action..........dont look back, keep a positive attitude:thefinger
Rarely do I get pissed.......except tonight:cool:

Remember!!!! Those who repeat their mistakes ARE Bound for Failure!!!;)

Iam not bashing BG & under picks here or anyone mentioned above by name or association of ideas! Lets take a after the fact look here.......

One thing that caused me concern........although I also lost on BG.......was the way their defense looked last week. Although they won against Toledo, it seemed Toledo had a lot of time consuming drives where Bg just could'nt seem to get their defense off the field. Also I myself failed to look into the fact that that Toledo game took a lot of fuel out of the gastake for BG. They seemed a little tired to me. The basically played 2 tough games with 4 days rest in between, I know Miami also played Saturday but they have been basically on cruise control for a few weeks now, add the fact that they have been getting ahead so early in their last few games they have probably rested a lot of players in the last month of the season. It seemed to me they were always up like 24-7 in the first quarter .

Franky,
I had BG also, (had the over called but passed on the total...go figure). My feel is that you can second guess yourself till you're blue in the face with the shoulda...coulda...woulda's.
Like you my job keeps me pretty busy too, leaving me little time to dwell on the loss. I must move on to the next play, hopefully having learned a little something.
best of luck to ya this weekend
TT

FRANKY I'm also angry that I can't kick myself in the ass. The one very simple thing that kept coming back to me was why did the line maker give BG a touchdown? It looked too good to be true and it was. Just last week I won a game going against what the bookie wanted me to bet. Why didn't I do it this time? Because like you I read all the posts from guys whose opinion I valued and went with them. In the final analysis it was my decision and I blame only me. I did learn from my experience and will live to fight a better battle an other day.
