Everywhere I look this morning newspaper, internet, Mr. James is all over the place. Even in the office this morning, I hear people who don't follow sports talking about him. I here women asking questions like what team is he going to?? and is he better than Michael Jordan?? Yes I did watch parts of the game last night and there is no doubt LeBron delivered in the national spotlight. But I think this whole thing is getting blown way out of portion, I mean this guy had this type of game against high school kids, yes very talented high school kids, but nonetheless high school kids.

Yes I think LeBron is the real deal and has the potential to be an NBA superstar, but it just bothers me, that his performance is the top story on espn.com, yahoo sports, etc. I just feel that a high school kid has no business having that place. I mean imagine in ten years what will it be?? Live at a CYO, PAL, YMCA game to watch the next NBA prospect a 13 year-old kid who will be forgoing high school and declaring eligible to the NBA draft.

as vitale said last night lebron is an exception. we've never seen a kid so young with so much ability and maturity before and we may never see one again. thats why he's getting the attention, he's just a once in a lifetime talent. i have no problem with it, 6 months from now he'll be the number one pick in the draft anyways and obviously lebron has no problem with it which is what matters the most.
