Pascal Leclaire will start in goal and Jason Spezza will be in the lineup when the Ottawa Senators face the Nashville Predators Thursday night.
With centre Peter Regin returning from injury, Shean Donovan will be a healthy scratch.
Regin missed three games with an upper-body injury, while Spezza left practice early Wednesday with what the team called "bumps and bruises."
Brian Elliott was expected to get the nod between the pipes after Cory Clouston said he would play against either the Predators or the Boston Bruins Saturday night. Clouston wouldn't commit Thursday morning to playing Elliott in the next game.
Nashville is coming off a 3-2 loss in Boston Wednesday night and are without top forward Jason Arnott, but Clouston cautioned against taking the Predators too lightly.
"We expect a tough game tonight," he said, noting the Preds played a gritty road game against the Bruins despite the loss.
