Anybody see this thug after the Oregon/Boise St. game last night? After the game he was apparently being taunted by a Boise St. linebacker(probably because they made him look like the b*tch that he is 8 carries for -5 yards). So the "gangsta" cheap shots the Boise guy when he wasn't looking. Then he does the "I'm going to back up real quick in hopes that other people break it up before I get my ass kicked" move. Why is it that these self appointed "tuff gangstas" always throw a punch and then run away? The Boise St. player shouldn't have been taunting after the game, but that goes on during the entire game by both teams. Just pretty pathetic IMO.

i just posted this in the college foots forum....same sort of thing(more egregious even)in boxing a few years back......the dude got suspended and got serious jail time.....

i didn`t see it in the video i saw...but i just read that the bsu kid literally put his hand on the oregon kid to get his attention to taunt him.....

Would agree Weasel that if the Boise guy touched Blount that it doesn't become as big of a deal. But it still doesn't warrant this kind of reaction whatsoever. Smack talking and taunting go on the entire game, Blount obviously was just too weak mentally, and apparently physically after running away after the swing.

On the radio today they talked about how he has been in trouble before and was suspended in the off season this past year for showing up late, not paying attention and to disrespecting his coaches. Sounds like a loser and IMO he's not that good anyway. Time for the new coach to make a statement and boot him for good.

I have a few problems with the Boise kid.
#1 You never poke a bear much less an angry one. Blount was in no mood and just looking at him screams thug.
#2 You never poke a bear and then turn your back on it. What the hell was he thinking. He had that little smirck on his face like I just told him and it was funny. Next thing he knew, he was picking himself off the ground. I have to admit that made me smirck.
#3 You put your hand on his shoulder to make sure he turned to hear you. Tell me the kid didn't have something coming from doing that to a clearly unstable individual.
Did everyone notice this happened right in front of Boise coach Pedersen and he never flinched from the punch to stop yelling at the Boise kid.
I think coach told him "See what happens when you run your pie hole."

I wasn't talking about the Boise kid. I was talking about the Oregon kid who hit him. He shouldn't have been talking chit pregame unless he could take it post game. I'm totally fine with Boise Kid talking after the game, and I'm sure I would have been doing the same. The Oregon kid had no excuse to hit him.
I guess I totally disagree. Since when did physical retaliation become ok for anything much less a few mocking words? And if you're gonna cheap shot someone at least stand there and fight the rest of the fight like a man instead of quickly backing away. Not a single action of Blount's was acceptable.

I think you misunderstood what my point was.
The Boise kid never should have looked away is my only point. Maybe then he could have dodged it or blocked it.
He was too busy laughing at his own humor and thought he got the last word.
You are not going to mock a guy like Blount without backlash. I don't condone it one bit,but quite frankly kind of expected it.
