this is an epidemic with heroin...I was principal at a HS right on the border of 3 states.. NY,PA and NJ I was principal from 1997-2007 ten years at this one school ...we lost 11 kids to car accidents and not one was alcohol related. One suicide and now we are up to 9 od's on heroin.My secretary's son,our star fullback, a Iraq army vet....last year LP back from the Army was found at home in his bath tub with a needle in his arm...
We have had so many assemblies guest speakers,councilors, support staff, education in the lower levels...you must take Health in NY State...almost half the units are on drugs now....but we are still losing kids
