You can say the same about PSU and Alabama,

PSU beats Coastal Carolina, Ore St, Temple, and Syracuse and the conference stinks.

Alabama did play Clemson which is not their fault that they stunk this year but you are punishing
Texas for playing Arkansas(who was in Cotton Bowl last season).

I give Florida some credit as the only real cupcakes are Citadel and Hawaii(which was not bad when scheduled).

I HAVE ALWAYS SAID THE NCAA SHOULD SCHEDULE 1 GAME FOR EVERY TEAM EACH YEAR BASED ON PRESEASON RANKINGS. A prove yourself type of scenario.

Oklahoma St :mj07:
Texas Tech :mj07:

People act like OKST was an huge upset or something.
OKST was the 4th best team in the Big 12 South.
Oregon was #2 from the Pac10.

TT losing to Ole Miss is far from a disgrace.

Some teams just don't come to play in bowl games.

Just ask Saban right now.

You never know. Alabama played 5 of the bottom 15 offenses so and they had the second scoring def. They play Fla with a good O and they give up 31 pts. Now playing a good Utah O and have given up 21 pts and 168 yds.

I love the idea of a neutral body scheduling us some showdowns early in the season.

The ncaa has all but ceded the bowl matchups to outside sources and we have nothing but dud game, after dud game.

But, I like the twist of September games based on the spring rankings.

My first suggestion: USC vs an SEC school, how about Florida or UGA.

I am so tired of the SEC vs USC that crop up here and other places.....about time to settle that sucker on the field and give us some evidence to use either way in our arguments.

Under a mask.
What does it say about the ACC then?? Nebraska handled Clemson.

How did BC do vs a weak as Vandy school?

Did GT play yet? How did they fare?

The ACC might be worse than the WAC this year.

:mj07: :mj07:

Threee :00hour ,knew id get ya going.
Ya,the ACC is a tough conf. to figure out.

Part I dont get is this??Why is Clemson playing Nebraska on NYD,when BC has to go to play Vandy in Vandy (or in Tenn.).

Shouldnt BC be playing Neb. on NYD when they finished better conf. record then Clemson??

Doesnt add up to me.
Were sick of playing before New years.
If other teams with worse records are gonna be rewarded more, why should we get pumped up for less:shrug:

And Clemsen is not the only team that is guilty

The Bowls pick who they want - standings are meaningless. All about who the bowl thinks will make them money. BC sold a whopping 2,000 tickets for their bowl game - and we saw the pathetic ACC title game turnout- might explain why they went where they went. Same asd to Vandy - you think other than a home game anybody wanted them?

Far too many bowl games. BC/Vandy/Clemson and many otehrs arent worthy. Was much better when there were 10-12 bowl games.

he reason for the ACC bad turnout is this.
School vacation resides on that week(END).
Many students travel home for vacation.
It was played neutral.

Were was the big 12 championship played???

I understand the money Issue for bowls.
Too bad it takes away from the best matchup:shrug: :sadwave:
