I'd love to hear folks' thoughts on the SC/A&M game. Double digits seems like a lot. Even though Manziel is gone, A&M does have quite a few starters back. However, they are 0-4 ATS their last four August games. Add in a freshman starter for the Aggies, and it could be an SC runaway considering how they play at home. They are especially good at home on these Thursday night games. What do y'all think?

I've read about every book in the Library Corley! I'm ready to watch some football.

Interesting game Hash, hard to figure for me. No Johnny Football, but no Conner Shaw either. Manziel got most of the headlines but I thought Shaw was just as effective; I think SC is going to miss him more than some think. SC could beat practically anybody last year yet let Kentucky back in the game 2nd half and only won by 7 (Clowney was out tho), but Ky was bad. But I know Spurrier won't take his foot off the gas if he is up, it's just not in him.

I like SCar. A&M lost 3 starters on their front 7 last month on a D that was already Swiss cheese. Add in true frosh QB on the road in a tough environment and that spells disaster.

There you go.

I think Rice got over 300 rushing yards against the Aggies early last year; plus SC is supposed to have a really good OL returning plus Mike Davis is back at TB, doesn't sound real good for A&M but I don't want to underestimate them.

Also like SC over A&M

Didn't see any mention of A&M losing Mike Evans. Jesus that guy was a manchild. I have heard that they will be better on defense, but that's not saying much considering what they had on the field last year. They almost have a whole new offense. I feel like the run and gun Sumlin offense takes a decent amount of time to get used to and get some chemistry.

Dylan Thompson is gonna be SC's QB this year right? He played decent/above average in that huge game on the road vs. Mizzou last year. Have to feel like a couple of big games broke him in and Spurrier works magic with QBs, see: stephen garcia :mj07:

Also gonna be looking at: OMiss -9 over Boise. I think Petersen has to be given credit for a LOT of their success. Freeze is a solid coach and OMiss should be pretty good this year with that young group of studs from 2012/13 recruiting class being a year older.

Could see Wazzou beating Rutgers by DDs with a long trip west and the pirate.

Bama/WV Under 55. WV is back to being aweful now right? Granted Bama's D lost a lot, WV won't put up that much. Bama's O is going to be a struggle in the passing game. Heard they brought their previously written off 3rd string QB into the mix :mj07: I see this one being one of Saban's more conservative games.

AU-ARK Over57. Auburn will put up 40s against most teams this year. Arkansas should get in the 20s. Yes I'm aware of the *probably 1Quarter suspension for Marshall. Will give the country a chance to get an early preview of Duke Williams / Sammie Coates combo at WR. God they're gonna be monsters for DBs to handle.

Might look at the Under in LSU/Wisc.

Damn it feels good to talk CFB again :0008

Washington St/Rutgers could get ugly if Rutgers pass defense isn't any better than last year. I don't know if I ever remember a team that played good run defense but horrible pass defense.

Kentucky fan day, one of incoming freshman, Matt Elam. I think he's like 6' 7", about 380. Probably needs to lose some weight and get a years experience before he'll be ready for SEC offensive lineman, but an interesting study nevertheless. At least one Saban didn't get...:00hour

Looking at Colorado -3 pretty hard right now. McIntyre is a quality coach and this is a good recruiting crop he brought in, and the line the OM gave is pretty cheap winning by 14 LY. CSU committed a few to's in that game. Buffs have some quality lil known players and 8/8 starters returning.

Two weeks to go ya'll!!

I'd like to see Colorado get more competitive Bill, although I know it won't be easy in the Pac 12.

Isn't there a game scheduled for around the middle of the month? I thought I had seen where maybe Sam Houston St was playing somebody around that time frame, but could be imagining things.

Sam Houston State-Eastern Washington is on Saturday the 23rd. A little FCS curtain raiser for the season.

Thanks man, at least I got 1 of the 3 right; just didn't remember the opponent and a little early on the time. The season is within sniffing distance now anyway :0corn

Corley.

Robinson - right tackle. How big of a loss is he. Some people saying he may have been the best RT in the SEC. Hurts pretty bad if true
