Local reporters are talking about Lincecum's blister a bit more than usual the past few days.
It is an issue he has dealt with all year, and it usually doesn't cause a problem and certainly has not caused him to miss a start.
However, word is he hardly pitched on the side since his last start to give it time to rest. (apparently him pitching on 3 days rest in the Atlanta series was a bluff and would not have happened even if they were down 2-1, because of the blister... he would have pitched game 5 though).
Not sure what if any effect this will have on his performance :shrug:
