Over the past couple of months I have noticed that dogs seem to do well when there is significant variance in the lines at different books (5 or more cents).
Went back and checked last couple of weeks.
Found 17 games in this category.
Dogs went 8-9, +2.93 units.
They never were in the red during that timeframe.
I'll keep an eye on this phenomenon.
