I like the Gators +6 playing LSU

Fla st -6.5...playing Virginia this line will go up

*Trends for the Gator game*

*Home team is 3-10 ATS last 13 years*
*Gators are 15-1 SU & 12-4 ATS since 1995 before a bye week*

LSU has Auburn the following Saturday...
I do believe the Gators can win this game SU,so of course getting 6 points is a gift

bama -13.5 over ole miss..bama is for real, and ole miss is not that good. line looks way to low.

georgia -15.. for some reason it seems like most of the sec games with lines between 13-17 that the favorite has covered nearly everytime.

auburn -7. Ark can be a tough place to play at, but Auburns Off. seems to be rolling, and they have a pretty good defense

seems like everyone loves ND ... dont see it ... USC was in monster sandwich vs zona and PC will have them ready ... Coach W. had bye and went egghead with new trix I'm sure, but they also couldnt stop Spartans' speed. ND better grab lead b/c thats formula it will take ... NDs dee here in seattle showed leaks ...

Upset of week: WSU over ucla, it doesnt figure so it might happen, see if bruins deflate after huge, fortunate win

Weis doesn't do trix - This is not loosinghan. ND will play ball control throughout the game. I'm not sure ND will win, but it will be close. USC secondary has looked suspect to me. ND will put up some points, hopefully it will be enough. I will take the 13 and whatever the over is...

played 1 so far:

Ole Miss +12.5 x3 Excellent spot, with Bama off huge W. Oxford is a tough place to play. Prothro injury hurts the Tide bigtime. Bama has Vols on deck.

looking at these:

Clem +5
Duke +19.5
Col +19.5
Vandy +16
LSU -5
Kent +13
CSU Pick
Mich -3
K St +12.5
Wash St +7
Ark +7.5

Look for LSU to come out strong this week. Def, especially the secondary, has started to gel. A couple of key players are healthy including LB EJ Kuahle and C Rudy Niswanger, who was forced into action LW due to injured backup C. LSU loss to Tenn was their 2nd game played this season and was played off of a long layoff. The players had to deal with a myriad of distractions to start out the season and are now in rhythm. Public watched sloppy 4 TD win over Vandy and will likely jump all over Fla. If Fla found it tough to operate in Tuscaloosa, they better brace themselves for this game.

Can anyone tell me why they like Arkansas? I can't figure out how this line is where it is at? I feel like Auburn is at least 10 points better than Arkansas even playing on the road. Am I being a homer here? My first instinct is to play Auburn -7, but the line looks too fishy.

And how can you play Ole Miss here? Their offense is terrible and against Alabama's D? Are you guys just figuring both schools are going to come off their bye week sluggish? Both UA and AU defenses look solid to me, and Ole Miss and Arkansas offenses look terrible so far?

Colorado looks very solid.

How about Penn st getting 3 from Michigan...No respect for the Lions in this game from the linesmakers...Let`s face it the Wolves suck 3-3,i do believe in let downs, but not here...The Penn st defense will rattle this Henne all day...Henne is suppose to be a pro prospect,he is so inconsistent its not even funny.Penn st might make a statement here and crush the Wolves.

UCONN -8....playing Cincy...I think this Uconn team is well coached....plus they play very well on both sides of the ball week in and week out

Ohio st - Mich st...over 52.5...shootout!

Fla st is up to 7 now...opened at 6.5

Bama due for a letdown with Vols on deck. Loss of Prothro is big. Big moneyline worth a small shot imo.

Auburn lost handily to the only solid competition they faced this year. Since the loss they've beaten 4 below average to poor teams. When is the last time Auburn played on the road??? Ark has competed in each game aside from the USC debacle. If Aub is sneaking a peak at LSU next week, then Ark has an oppt'y for the outright W.

...would have to agree with Cie on those 2 SEC games.

...my leans this morning are:

Colorado +
Mizzou -
Vandy +
L'ville -
Mich -
Oreg St. +
N'Western +
Temple +
Troy -
MTSU -
N. Tex -

...have not played any of these yet. I'll wait and watch the line movement this week.... I'm not all that thrilled with the card this week. :)

Auburn has also had complete restructuring of the depth chart since that first game debacle. Not to mention, they have key starters back on defense from injury. To say Arkansas has competed in games where they lost at home to Vandy really doesn't sell me on them being a live home dog here. Auburn's offense has really come along with Kenny Irons and Brad Lester running the ball in the past 4 games since GT. I know AU hasn't played anybody, but I just can't see Arkansas scoring more than 14 unless AU turns it over more than 3 times. I'm just gonna have to see it to believe it...Auburn 35, Ark 13

Also, the last time Auburn played on the road, they beat Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

I may be wrong about Auburn game, but there is no chance Ole Miss beats Alabama. They may cover, but ml bet is wasted money.

My point exactly. New QBs have a tendancy to struggle first game (or more) on the road.

You may be right CG, but AU has looked very impressive beating up on creampuffs, so hopefully they will not have a letdown on the road. Good luck with the Gators this weekend. That should be an interesting matchup.

au2001,
we are on the same page here. Off the top of my head(not countinglast week) the rebs offense has only been on the field around 20-22 minutes a game. Our defense is not bad, but when they are forced to be on the field for 40 minutes, the points will come. If ole miss scores, it will most likely be because of our defense. I honestly thought that this line would be closer to 21. I would not read to much into this and just pound bama.
