I've seen close to 30lbs hauled up in nets of Commercial Fishing Boats......Big ones like that are usually are old and tough......True fishermen take pics and toss back........:0008

3-4lbs ones are great, less work more meat.....

I think you cut their tail off, and count the rings...but don't quote me on that. :0008
