I see on Sheridan early odds that the Jets are a 4.5 fave in Denver! Maybe the line comes down but Screw Teebow!

Jets by 2 scores!!!!! Don't see it any other way and I am sure my bookie will like that! :mj07:

Hey bleedpurple- I think you are right on about this Thursday Night. I usually suck during the week and just play small action plays for the most part. But I may hit the Jets hard on this one.

I do not care about the short week. That could be part of the reason the Jets did not play their best against the Pats? I also do not think that Tebow has seen a good angry "D" like the one that is about to come into town. No offense to the Raiders and Chiefs and their sucky ass division! That AFC west is comparable to the East of the NFC!

I think that the Jets "D" will outscore the Denver "O"

I think that Vegas could not be happier about the way that this one sets up for Joe Q. Public. Jets lose Sunday Night. Denver wins and is the home team on a Thursday Night. Could it be possible that the Jets will not be a public favorite this week as they are small chalk on the road?

Good Luck to all of you! Especially if you are betting on Dirty Sanchez and the boys.

I need to take a break now! This is the most thinking I have done on a Monday in quite some time!!

I really didn't see anything last night that would make me take the jets against anyone. Granted I haven't seen much football this year but took the jets last night. Here's my take.
-when sanchez called the to before the half I thought it was stupid...and we all found how that may have been the game changer
-either Sanchez has no touch on a short pass or Green and LT can't catch very well
-green running outside...my sister could push him over
-leonard and smith covering the Pats receivers reminded me of a cat covering shit in a sand storm

Basically for such a huge game, the jets laid an egg, they were out classed, out coached and pretty much schooled on both sides of the ball!

Just my 2 cents and it is after all the NFL so who knows, maybe the best handicapping skills are flipping a coin!

I'm seeing 3.5 on this game now. Wow! Maybe the jets are that bad.

I am biting at 3.5

This is the kind of game the jets can dominate on the defensive end and win IMO.

Mcgahee is banged up and Moreno is done for the year. Lance Ball yes I said Lance Ball looks like the starter. Even though the Jets have had trouble at times stopping the run I see them really stuffing the box and playing everyone up near the LOS against this Denver offense. The jets can man up against the Denver receivers without much fear unlike against better offenses that can spread the Jets and create mismatches.

Tebow will have to pass with this scheme and only bad things usually happen when he does that. I see the Jets defense keeping the offense with good field position all night and somehow even Sanchez wont screw this game up.

This is an inferior team to the jets and they seem to feast on those so ill bite on the Jets as well.

I don't disagree with you OK3, playing denver after the Pats is definitley steping down in class. With the valid points you bring up, I'd think the line would be higher, closer to the 7 mark or 6.5.

And then look at the fact NE had a makeshift secondary and Sanchez couldn't do much in the air at all. It might be a good under game but not biting on the Jets in this one. Best of luck to you guys!

Tcon, I think there are a few things that have the line where it is at...

If the game was in New York on a normal week of rest I think we would see a line of 8 maybe 9 but...

We have a line of 4 which giving the normal 3 point HFA makes it at 7 but going to Mile High I think it is figured at 4 for HFA coupled with the fact it is a real short week flying across country.

Lastly Denver has won 2 in a row and quite frankly the Jets just arent the same team this year on either side of the ball.

My problem is Tebow. Pure and Simple.

Good luck OK3, I bit on Denver, jitters on Tebow but I've seen stranger things happen. I like how he competes and I see a guy like that that has something that makes people around him play better. They'll need it for sure. The kid could be running into a buzz saw in a pissed off Jets team!

I ended up making a small play on the Jets, damn they screwed that game up on a couple fronts. That turnover killed them and the miss belief that they could go into a shell up by 3. The defense is not very good on the road, I thought they would be better than they showed, especially on the last drive. Ill conceived blitz packages :( but hey Tebow beat em they gotta live with it. GL rest of the week.
