In the early game my numbers favor Atlanta strongly. The only question is who starts for Detroit at QB. Garcia makes my numbers favor Atlanta by 4 while Harrington shows a 6 point edge for the Falcons. I usually don't advise moneyline plays on a favorite in the NFL, but I will make an exception. With my bell full of Thanksgiving din-din I don't want to sweat a backdoor cover. The only way I could play Detriot here would be strictly a contrarian play, ( I can't risk my money on that principle alone), The falcons are averaging 175 yards rushing per game.Detroit is allowing teams to dominate them up front, add in the Vick "Primetime factor" and Detriot should have a hard time keeping the Falcons in check. I do hate to bet on a team coming off 2 straight losses(especially laying points, which is why I won't) but a closer look at the numbers show Atlanta held huge edge in most statistical categories last week. I love Vick on the turf. I love the fact that Detroit can't take advantage of Atlantas biggest weakness(rush defense). I love having a QB that can take over a game going for me with a QB who can beat himself on the other side of the ball at any point. So take the Falcons here, lay the $1.65 and eat til your hearts content. Then after the game grab someone and work the CHUBB !!!
