WVU has a finesse O-line. They really aren't all that physical. Devine gains all those yards through long runs after gaining something like 20 to 30 yards on 18 carries. Then he will break a 60 yarder here and there to push his total up. WVU's pass protection has been extremely shaky and add in the factor Jarret Brown's million fumbles this year. This all plays into S. Fla's defensive line and pass rush strength. Add the speed of the entire defense and you have a recipe for shutting down WVU's offense.
It's the same story every year for this WVU- S. Fla game. Look at those past scores and look at WVU offensive production against this type of defense.
Devine will be shut down and Brown will likely turn the ball over.
I think this is the ideal spot to take the home team plus points and take the under. WVU defense is superior against the run. Even though they have a horrendous secondary....Daniels won't pick them apart...but, he may beat them deep or with a broken big play.
Under and S. Fla.
