Chris Sale was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday due to a cold.
The initial report didn't include the reason for the scratch, so trade speculation flew for a few minutes. But it's just a minor illness. Matt Albers will start against the Tigers in Sale's place. Jul 23 - 6:02 PM

White Sox ace Chris Sale was scratched from Saturday's start vs. the Tigers due to what the club called a "clubhouse incident."

General manager Rick Hahn said in a statement:
"Chris Sale has been scratched from tonight's scheduled start and sent home from the ballpark by the White Sox due to a clubhouse incident before the game. The incident, which was non-physical in nature, currently is under further investigation by the club.
"The White Sox will have no additional comment until the investigation is completed."

It seems he did not want to wear the throw back jersey today and started cutting it up.

Got into it with management saying they were more interested in selling jersies rather than making the players comfortable.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Sale's cutter is flashing real strong tonight!! :mj07:

He's had strong disagreements with management a couple times this season. If they don't trade him, it will get worse....His velocity and strikeouts are down this season, folks have been speculating it might be related to his troubles with management...
