When the best pitching staff in the league (2.84 team ERA) goes up against a decent hitting team (5.3 runs per game last 10 days), something has to give. Because we believe in the old bromide that good pitching stops good hitting, we have to favor the Dodgers here. Sure, LA isn?t much with the mace (.251 team BA, 10th in the NL . . . last in homers), but that awful Brewers pitching staff (starters are yielding almost six runs per game at home) will no doubt be just what the doctor ordered. BEST BET: Dodgers in all gamers.

Last my 23 the Dodgers went into Milwaukee and Shawn Green was hitting about 240 with 3 homers, he went on to hit 4 in a game and went on a huge tear that propelled the dodgers into 1st place for a few weeks, im not betting he goes deep 4 times in a game let alone the series, but I would be surprised if Milwaukee took a game agasint the best pitching in basebll
