This city, LA, has wanted the NFL back for a long while. Now look at what they got?
A dysfunctional team in the Rams and another dysfunctional team in the Chargers who'll lose their naming rights to San Diego? I'll have to catch up on that later with the legal stuff ESPN was saying!
We're talking about two once proud franchises moving/relocating to LA and now the misfits that run those organizations are going to muck it up in LA!!
San Diego you remember drafted Ryan Leaf instead of Peyton Manning. They drafted Eli Manning but had to trade him to the Giants cuz Eli didn't wanna play there. This organization can not win no matter where they move to!
LA is in the same scenario. They draft Jared Goff over Wentz. We all saw how good Goff was in his brief 3-4 games in the NFL!
Now San Diego will have only 1 professional franchise, the Padres of all teams and soon to be rumored, will lose them to another city in the US, ala, Montreal possibly or Las Vegas or Raleigh? WOW!!
Sports owners can really screw up a wet dream you know?
Does San Diego deserve an NFL franchise again? NO! You can't support your team or assist them in building a new stadium, you don't deserve a team. And why would you want one ran by Dean Spanos anyway? He's an over aged teenager playing with Lincoln logs still.
St Louis on the other hand could support an NFL franchise, but please don't bring some owner in like Frontiere or Spanos, etc., from the west coast. Maybe an expansion franchise would do well in St Louis.
NFL is really asking for trouble allowing these teams to move where they want and it's not only bad for the NFL, it's bad for pro sports in general. Look at how much Dean Spanos must pay to relocate the team from SD to LA? $550,000,000? Really? That's less than a new NFL franchise fee and could buy a lot of MLB teams for pete sakes!
Later!
