Between Green Bay and Iowa City
NFL YTD: 29-33 (-7.36*)

Starters:

Denver(-10') (1*)
For annoyingly similar reasons, I?ve dropped the ball on four potential GOYs (Virginia @ W. Michigan; Green Bay @ Chicago; Oklahoma vs. Texas; and San Diego @ Denver) . . . Denver has shown vast potential with a strong arm QB and their time to make hay is now. Plummer has always gone well from strength to strength; I look for his teammates to indoctrinate him in the joys of games played in the elements . . .The Bears have elevated their play nicely for how many weeks running? Their offense still comes in averaging the fewest yards and the fourth fewest points in the league.

Baltimore(-2') (1*)
On one side, Seattle?s defense is a paper tiger that has been shredded, but remains much improved. But by a tad, I think this is the best offense Baltimore has faced. Seattle knows what it has to do, and looks to have risen to the distinguished level of beating itself on the road . . . On the other side, that Baltimore defense (and that offense) coming off two tough road losses has trend numbers that make perfect sense . . . This scalp looks too huge for the Seahawks.

Or not.

Still fine tuning the rest of my card, and the time for contributing any observations or analysis is running short.

Green Bay has a big game - Rattay looks to steer the way to slay the Titletown menace for 49ers fans everywhere.
