Trying to not let lines cloud my judgment this week. Most of the time, the lines don?t come into play (wish I had a percentage on that), so I am just going with the better football team. Louisville ? 3. Louisville wants to end the season strong, build momentum into their bowl game. The Bearcats are done for the season, at 5-6, not eligible for a bowl game since one of their wins was against I-AA Rhode Island. The Bearcats have lost 6 of their last 8 games, only beating Army by 4 and I-AA Rhode Island by 7- both at home. I know they played Memphis tough last week dropping a 21-16 decision, while Louisville got whipped at home by 30 the week before, but the Bearcats were +2 in the TO margin and still lost. I realize Louisville gives up a lot of points, but when a team has only beaten a I-AA school and a I-A team with no wins, by a combined score of 11 points, I can?t see them beating Louisville. I am not falling for a ?trap? line or ?Louisville looks to easy? ? I look at two football teams and see that one is better then the other and should win by more than 3 points. Comments appreciated.
