I am by no means a capper, and don't wager big, but I love this teaser, and it's my biggest play of the year so far:
WagerType: 3 TEAM 10 POINT TEASER
Date:
Dec 09 NFL [126] SF 49ERS PK ov. Miami
Dec 09 NFL [130] SE SEAHAWKS -? ov. Ariz.
Dec 09 NFL [132] GB PACKERS +3? ov. Det.
The niners must be Pissed after last week's loss to the Rams, and they take it out on Miami this week, losers of their last 4 out of 5. Now the fins have to fly a few thousand miles, and are 3rd to last in scoring in the AFC, in front of only Jax. and KC. while the niners stout defense leads the league in fewest points allowed.
The Seahawks have only lost once at home this season, and even that game was put in the Win column as a result of the infamous "Fail Mary" pass! No pushovers either, their 5 home wins have come against teams with a combined 34-26 record. Coupled with zona's 8 game losing streak where they have averaged less than 12 points per game during that stretch, I think the hawks keep their "NOT IN OUR HOUSE" mentality alive this week.
Detroit (losers of their last 4 games) hasn't won at Lambeau since Mike Tomczak was under center for the Pack in 1991. The Packers defense sucks, and Megatron will have a big night, but the Packers can always make up in offense what they lack in defense. I don't have to rely on the struggling Mason Crosby to win it, because I'm getting 3.5 points. Last season, New Years day, backup QB Matt Flynn put up 6 TD passes on the Lions.
I fully understand the "Any given Sunday" rule applies, but I have 3 home teams all fighting for playoff spots, versus 3 teams going in the opposite direction.
I like my chances!
