I am by no means a capper, and don't wager big, but I love this teaser, and it's my biggest play of the year so far:

WagerType: 3 TEAM 10 POINT TEASER
Date:
Dec 09 NFL [126] SF 49ERS PK ov. Miami
Dec 09 NFL [130] SE SEAHAWKS -? ov. Ariz.
Dec 09 NFL [132] GB PACKERS +3? ov. Det.

The niners must be Pissed after last week's loss to the Rams, and they take it out on Miami this week, losers of their last 4 out of 5. Now the fins have to fly a few thousand miles, and are 3rd to last in scoring in the AFC, in front of only Jax. and KC. while the niners stout defense leads the league in fewest points allowed.

The Seahawks have only lost once at home this season, and even that game was put in the Win column as a result of the infamous "Fail Mary" pass! No pushovers either, their 5 home wins have come against teams with a combined 34-26 record. Coupled with zona's 8 game losing streak where they have averaged less than 12 points per game during that stretch, I think the hawks keep their "NOT IN OUR HOUSE" mentality alive this week.

Detroit (losers of their last 4 games) hasn't won at Lambeau since Mike Tomczak was under center for the Pack in 1991. The Packers defense sucks, and Megatron will have a big night, but the Packers can always make up in offense what they lack in defense. I don't have to rely on the struggling Mason Crosby to win it, because I'm getting 3.5 points. Last season, New Years day, backup QB Matt Flynn put up 6 TD passes on the Lions.

I fully understand the "Any given Sunday" rule applies, but I have 3 home teams all fighting for playoff spots, versus 3 teams going in the opposite direction.
I like my chances!

NICE JOB!!!! Did you happen to parlay that too???? (You capped it so well it wouldda hit at 6:1 also, you know.)

In no way am I coming off as "Nice, but you could have done better", but I have done a season in NFL where I played mostly teasers and it ended up costing me thousands and thousands of dollars in WINNINGS... I would have lost about 30% more plays doing parlays instead of teasers on that season; but would have made 2-300% more in PAYOUTS...

Not belittling your win in any way, and this teaser here got me to thinking about my "teaser NFL season", and how it ended up.

May I suggest that each of your teasers, you keep track and even if you don't bet em, keep track of the same plays as a parlay risking the same amount on every play; then look to see how you would have come out in comparison to the teasers.. I was SHOCKED to see how many won NOT NEEDING the tease....

Just a suggestion, and IMO, you will be surprised at how often a TEASER wins as a PARLAY.. (In regards to 6 to 7 pt teasers; I didnt compile data on 10 n 13 ptrs)

Does anyone have ATS spread data on teams for this season if TEASED for 10 pts??? 13 pts?? Just 6???? or 6.5, or 7???

AGAIN, CONGRATS ON THE WIN!~!~

And keep on plugging away!

No, I didn't parlay it, but I'll definitely take your suggestion and keep track of how my same teaser bets would work out in a parlay. I get so caught up in the points the teasers offer, that I never really think about the money I may be leaving on the table.

And I didn't feel you were belittling me at all. I can always use the extra help. Thanks for taking the time to post your ideas in this thread. Much appreciated.
