To begin..I think Ffld has the better talent BUT they are playing and shooting quite poorly right now. Last 4 meetings between these schools have been very close ...decided by 5 or fewer
3 of last 4 in favor of Loyola. The edge in this one is to Loyola for its excellent team foul shooting (close to 80%) while Fairfield is closer to 60%. In fact top 3 Ffld getting to the line are averaging 56%. Greg Nero has not taken any time off and is the best on the team...he gets to the line most and hits at 57%. In a close one that should be Pick em...edge to Loyola
