Virgina Tech -7
Texas Tech -7.5
Mich. St. +7.5
Auburn -7

The bad news for Auburn is Tony Mejia (cbssportsline) has actually picked AU not only to win, but cover this week. This is not a good sign considering he has picked Auburn not to cover pretty much every single week, including his prediction of a SU loss to Arkansas. He also had AU losing to UGA and LSU by a total of 30+ points. Maybe he actually watched us play last week?

By the way, Brandon Cox and Kenny Irons are the best QB and RB in the SEC. I have a feeling we may see why on Saturday!

Doubled down on the 7's.

Northwestern -14
Tulsa -14

Whenever I add plays, they lose...but I figure double-digit road favs hit at a high percentage, so why not. :mj07:

I also thought about pulling Texas Tech back, so that means it will hit no doubt.

Cox is definitely the best freshman qb I've seen in a long time. As for Kenny Irons, damn that kid is good. This weekend we will see how good he is. Hard not to take Auburn this week only giving up 7. Alabama only scores on defense and field goals and I look for Auburn to put up at least 21 points. Love the Tulsa pick. Seen a couple other guys on Northwestern so I may follow. Illinois is pitiful! Good Luck this weekend. My roommate went to Auburn so I will be pulling for them on Saturday.

Kenny Irons is definitely the Rodney Dangerfield of the SEC. He still doesn't really get the respect he deserves. He is like a hybrid of Ronnie Brown and Cadillac from last year's team. I mean the kid got off the bus in Baton Rouge and told the camera he was going to get 200 yards against a stout LSU D, and damn if he didn't do it. That's strong.

Auburn will have to avoid putting the ball on the ground and throwing ints, and they should cover if they do that. But it is the iron bowl so...who knows. Should be a hell of a game to watch regardless.

Like all your plays except TT. I think the sooners show up in this one. Don't forget about a man named Little when you start talking about S.E.C backs. He leads the nation in all purpose yards, and had a decent showing against your tigers. Given our front line, the #'s are pretty impresive. I know you guys have a couple of backs that would start over him, but he's carried the load for us this year. GL luck with your plays and with the tide this weekend. By the way, what do you think of UK +4tds this week. I usually try to stay away from them, but we tend to play GA tough. Would like an outsiders opinion.

that kid looked awesome VS GA. admittedly--i've stayed away from SEC pretty much all YR as teams are always geared up for one another and seems any outcome is possible. Though i was rooting against the kid the whole night--and was esctatic when he fumbled late in 4Q having GA on ML as %th team in parlay (only to see GA fumble it back for td) It seemed whenver he touched it he was electric--and when running through line was a another gear compared to GA defense. the kid definitely got game--and props from me as my FAV back to watch next to USC's bush that is. Easily best in SEC--though WYNN is a a gamer as well as DARBY--but irons looked good!

and cox was no slouch either... though he didnt run as fast as iron--like i said, other gear

I brought up Little's name in the Ala/Aub thread about how he is ahead of Darby in YPG. He is a stud.

I like UK +27, but I am staying away from it. If they can score 17, they will cover. UGA may look to rest Shockley if they get up big early.

Cox best QB in the SEC lol he has a arm like my boy Jay Barker had. Only Jay went 35-2-1 cox already has 2 losses. Cutler, Croyle and Shockley are by far better.

Cox has the best passer efficiency rating in conference play. My comment was meant to say that Cox/Irons were the best QB/RB duo in the SEC, but I guess I didn't make that very clear. I do think Cox is the best QB, but it's definitely an agruable opinion. Croyle, Shockley, Cutler are all excellent QB's.

You might want to be careful making fun of his arm. Cox is going to be at AU for two more years, and you seem to be the only guy who isn't impressed at the improvements he has made since the GT game. I think he is going to be great, and so does Al Borges.

Hopefully we will see Croyle have time to throw the ball. Joe Willie could play Sat for the tide and not win if he is on his back all day. If they do not protect Brodie it doesnt matter how good he is....

Good point. That will be the key to the game in my opinion. It will be important for UA to give Brodie time and make some first downs. Auburn's offense will pound them if they are playing on a short field like LSU did in the second half.

What a game!!! There is no greater rivalry than Auburn/Alabama. End of story.
