Made money in baseball .. lost money in the hockey game . .first losing day . .. .
hope to get back on track ..
Playing one game so far:
Blue Jays @ Reds Over 11 1/2 Runs *** Strong Play ***
The total sounds a tad high . .. but looking at the way the series has gone I think they will score around 15 - 16 runs at least in this game.
Starting with the pitchers:
Escobar has been throwing hard but he loses control around the fourth inning. He has not gone past the 6'th inning even once in his 4 starts as a starter. He has gone 6, 4.2, 5 and 3 innings walking 3, 5, 4 and 3 people respectively. He has not allowed a HR since he started pitching as a starter.
Haynes has gone 6 and 5 innings in his last 2 starts. His ERA is misleading bcoz he gave up 10 ER to Chicago. In last 2 starts he has given up 3 runs to Yankee's and 2 runs to Atlanta while walking 5 and 1 batter respectively.
Jays offence is much more better than either Atlanta or Yankee's.
The Umpire Randazzo has 4 Unders in 2003. Out of last 3, 2 have gone Under the Total and one push.
One Under was TB at Cubs land and other was the game betn Detroit and Cleveland.
I think the offence of these two teams is much better than the offence of any of the 4 teams mentioned above.
In only game he was officiating with Blue Jays the game went over the total.
In RHP vs RHP the Over is 4 - 1 - 1 in 6 games.
In NL games the Over is 3 - 2 - 1
Bull pen has not been spectacular. Pete Walker is not there for the Jays.
I expect runs to come off the bull pen also bcoz Escobar will not go past 5 hopefully.
Haynes has given up 1 HR at least in all his starts this year [I think]
Good luck to us and may the Over Gods be with us.
Cheers !!!

$ Looking @ the Boston over. Only the Ump scares me there. 9 - 3 Under .. eesh .. .
hope to get back on track ..
