Feeling better than he did yesterday, Henrik Lundqvist will start again tonight against the Sabres, coach Tom Renney said.
Lundqvist wasn't at the optional skate, but Renney said his cold/flu symptoms hadn't worsened overnight. Steve Valiquette will be prepared to step in if necessary.
D Marek Malik, whose chest and neck are sore from a high charge by Boston's Petteri Nokelainen in the third period yesterday, didn't skate and it's possible Jason Strudwick will dress, Renney said.
