Canisius +3 over Rider **
Was praying for +4 or +5 but I guess have to settle on a 3 pt shot...Both teams are 1st and 2nd on top of conf...both have won 6 in a row and 9 in a row...both won big on Friday beating Siena by 16 and Monmouth by 18...Griffs won by one 77-76 back in Dec... tough game to capp... the 2 best players out there today are both Griffs Crumpton and Reese...but we know that doesn't mean much..Broncos at home are tough..but Griffds area good rd team...what player who has the ball 75% of the time when his team has possessions is Riders pt gd Jordan..you have heard me hear for 3 years talking about this kid..great passer and is ranked high in assists in the country...in last 2 games he has scored 17 and 28 pts...in there loss to Griifs back in Dec he had 10 pts,5 rebounds and 7 assists...anyway he scares me big time today...But Reese has been playing outstanding..you have to throw out any trends..because you can find 10 backing Rider ans another 10 backing Cainisus , trying not to let them influence me but I weaken..{ road team is 7-1 ats in last 8 games...}.close game..think Griffs get a win or close loss...and praying that Jordan doesn't hit a 3 for a 4 pt win....
Niagara +2.5 over Manhattan ****
jumped on the line last night..played it..but wait..birdbrain here didn't check the injury list...Scott Purples leading scorer has an ankle injury..is listed probable..wow..that hurts big time..he only played 11 minutes in the game before..but then he is replaced by 5'10 Towns and he scores 20...this kid had 26 pts a few games ago..Purple are 18-10,have won 4 straight and just beat Iona by 1 down the rd Friday nite...they are one of the best rd teams in the country going 10-5...after there defeat to Peter thsy have been on an offesive tear, scoring in the mid 80's every game..but there defense is still bad... Dukes is playing great..Prochet has done a great job rebounding..
Jaspers are so inconsistent..1 -2 in last 3 games...just lost to Quinn ..I have talked about Williams here for 3 years...last yr they lost him for the whole season..and they tanked and lost..this yr he is back and having a decent
yr..but he should be dominating..nope until the other nite..he had 29 pts...MC has Turner and Crawford who can score and inside have Paulicapp and Waterman... on any given nite this team is really good..but on 15 nights this year they weren't "given"..13-15.. I am going to take the Purple anyway w/o knowing Scotts status...maybe the 5'10 kid comes in here and scores another 20..but if Scott is playing Kaspers are in deep, deep trouble..
Monmouth -3 over Siena *
two 8-20 and 9-18 teams going against each other...Saints avg 67 pts on offense and give up 75...Hawks won the 1st game 67-56...Hawks ats record is unreal 6-13,3-11 one the rd.\ but 8-2 in last 10 ats...really doesn't mean much..but what does mean a lot is Siena is ranked 303 in scoring,346th in most turnovers,301th in FG %,330 th in popcorns sales{ not including the vig}..on defense the same..where is Seaborn..is he playing or not..who knows and think the hawks really don't care...Monmouth was the 2 time defending MAAC champions the past 2 years..saints lost four 1,000 pt scorers.. tough game to capp...going with a small lean that Seaborn shows up,doesn't play, but buys a bag of pop corn..and it still leaves the saints with the least amount of pop corn sales..
Neb -1.5 over Illi **
Penn St +7.5 over Purdue **
Tulsa -13,5 over USF **Clemson +2 over Duke
Hope none of these games started yet..
