What a crazy day yesterday....

Bucknell 12 over Navy ****
Buck just beat navy last week 82-60..way back beat them@ Navy by 4....but other then an upset at Loy Md and losing to Lehigh who everyone loses to Bucknell has been winning big...they beat Navy,Army,BU and Colgate by 16,18,20,and 18...these guys play uptempo in a league that doesn't play uptempo..so its hard for teams to adjust...they have Thomas one of the best fds in the conf who avgs 16 pts and 8 bds..also has 106 assists..then they have a good center in Follandwho avgs 14 pts and 8 bds plus 64 blocked shots..Brown and Mack are solid gds...they don't miss because Buck is 26th in the country in FG%...they have a solid defense...Navy meanwhile avgs only 64 pts a game ranking them 330th on offense..they can't shoot 3's and in the two losses to Bucknell in regular season shot 10-43 {4-19 and 6-24} think Navy's anemic offense and slow pace won't be able to stop Bucknell today..think Thomas and Foll inside will dominate..

back later with a few more

yest went
2-1-1 on strong plays +3*'s

overall went 10-4 +16 ... I think
went to Baylor game....sat with Dog Lover and friends..had a great time...
Smoo again won big..damn how do you slow these guys down

great pick yest.... "NTexas cannot play defense and stop Marshall who is avgs 85 pts a game.".Marshall scores 106 points...but forgot Marshall can't play defense and gave up 104 pts...

back later with Siena+7 over Monmouth and Iona +2.5 over Peter...

posted it about a few minutes before it started I think..I just got my play in on time.....didn't realize it started that early,,still get confused with central time...they always announce things on eastern time...sorry was late posting it...

Monmouth -6.5 over Siena **
Clareth is listed questionable therefore will lean towards Monmouth...he makes a difference...since he came back from being suspended he is avg about 13-14 pts a game...he didn't play last nite....Saints are hot..won 4 of last 5.. but to weak teams,,,Niagara,Marist,Manhattan....they are the best 16-16 team in the country...Wright is a top pt gd...Ogun and Bip inside are big and can score and rebound..Long is the MVP..just scores and no one notices...but to beat Monmouth you need Clareth....so with him being questionable will lean towards the Hawks...not a big play because the line is almost exactly what I thought give or take a point....Hawks have owned Saints in the past beating them both times this yr and I think last yr...if it wasn't home court for them think they would be in trouble..but Hawks on the rd are solid and when you have one of the best pt gds in the country you negate a lot of home court advantages...

Iona +3 over Peter **
Another tough game..hate going against Peter...better coached, more structured offense, patient and play great defense...top 20 defense...iona is the total opposite....is ranked 30th on offense avg 80 pts a game, ranked 30th in 3 pt shooting,etc..but on defense gives up 76 pts a game..and gets no defensive rebounds...talent wise Iona has much more esp on offense...but there coach really has no clue and little control...but gets scorers..Iona is so inconsistent...Severe the kid transfer from Fordham is good...he avg 17 pts a game for them...last nite 0 pts,2 assists and 2 bds...he woukd be Peters 2nd or 3rd best player...but Cashmeir is the biggest mystery...made all MAAC frosh of yr 2 yrs ago..gets hurt fr a year..comes back and scores a lot one nite and does nothing the next...last nite 14,then its 14,1,16,4,15,23,17,17....seems like every other game he scores the next night off....he had 27 a few weeks ago and got 0 the next nite....anyway will take the Hawks with Robinson and co for a small play..

Northern Kent pk **
Gulf Coast -11 **
Houston -13.5 **
W&Mary +6 **

strong play Bucknell
