Iona +4 over Canisius
Think Iona is the better team.Much more talent,speed,athletes,and b-ball players.Iona is not well coached and everyone shoots the 3's with no one under the bds.Big time selfish plays led by the one and only DeShawn Williams,excomunicated from the Cuse.He's shooting a sizzling 32-107 from the 3.Thats a 29% avg.Burtt is shooting 16-49 for a 32% avg.
But jenkins inside is doing a great job rebounding and scoring.
Canisius got Ferris back their last game.He played 20 minuts and scored 10 pts.Spruill status is still unclear.
Downey has taken over as the leader of this team.Doss is solid after missing all lyr.Foster has been somewhat of a disappointment since his return but he can play.The Griffs can shoot the 3 well but are the worst FT shooting team in the MAAC at 61%.Griffs play a little better defense but Iona ranks No1 in def. bds.
But Iona has explosive players.In the MAAC tops 15 scorers Iona has 4 of them.DeShawn hit for 26 pts last week.Griffs have only 1 player,Downey.
In rebounding Iona has 3 of the top rebounders in the top 15.Griffs have one.
Iona has a chance to get a road win here and I think they win outright tonite.
Just to much talent.Williams,Burtt,Solivar and McCullough are a great gd combo.Not enough balls to go around.Smith is probaly there best player at 6'6.If Spruill plays that will help the inside game of Can but he is the worst FT in America.

Fairfield -3 over Marist
Who knows what Fox team shows up.Better yet what the hell happened to the Stags.They can't score pts.Gai is held to 1 pt vs Peters the other nite.But Marist can't score either.Thompson and Gai should dominate inside with only McClurkin to stop them.If he picks up 2 fouls like he usaully does the Foxes are in trouble.
Foxes can't shoot.From the 3 they are 29%.They also went to the Iona shooting clinic.FT's are terrible at 63%.Stags shoot 33% from the 3 and 73% from the FT line.
I'll take Fairfield to win this by 6 or 7 pts.
Siena -7.5 over Loy md
Siena is not as bad as many would think.But Loy.Md is bad.
Siena is ranked dead last in Def in the MAAC.But No1 in rebounding,rebounding margin.They are dead last in FT% and both teams are 9th and 10th in FG%.There are only 10 teams in the MAAC.
Loy is 9th in def 3 pt FG%.Neither team can shoot the 3 but Loy has made 102 tre's to rank 3rd.Siena has made 64 in the same amount of games.But Loy hoist up a lot more per game.
Tough game to capp.But Siena has Haddix who is a player.If Lanier gets his team to feed him the ball all nite Loy's in trouble.Siena does rebound well.There defense is bad but there playing a terrible offensive team.
