North Texas -1 over Mid Tenn **
over 145 ***
Could write a book on North Texas. They on any given night can beat anybody if they all brought there 'A" game. But they can't...Jones plays 7 or 8 guys for over 20 minutes. They have 6 players that have scored over 20 pts in a game. They have the best FT shooter in the country in pt gd White who a few weeks ago lite up MT.He hasn't missed a FT since Jan 10th.In fact NT is ranked No 1 or 2 in the country in made FT attemps. They shoot 72%.But that negates the low number in assits, etc.NT defense is horrible ranking 314th.But that is there style on offense.Odufuwa,Tramiel and McCoy have been playing good.McCoy had 26 and 29 pts in last 3 games. But the one between those games he scores 2.NT beat FAU the other day and shot 4-16 from the 3.They will shoot the 3 from anywhere...and when there hot they stick them...NT has played well these past 3 weeks where MT has lost 6 of last 8 games.NT beat them on there court 98-78 2 weeks ago.Yates is there big stud and Kanaskie was susposed to have a big year and he didn't.
If NT wins today they will get there 20th win.Think this team is so explosive with so many players that 3 bring there "a" game and that will be enough. But playing the mean green is like rolling dice.Every coach in the sun conf is in fear of them...like the over a lot..NT will score 80-85 pts today and there is no way NT defense shuts down MT..85-75...

Siena -12 over Fairfield ****
Saints let Canisius stay with them in the 1st half then blew them away in the 2nd.See the same scenario today.Stags played tough and Nero played well. But saints frontline is a lot different then the Manhattans.Hasbrouck and Moore are 2 solid gds that should really take it to the stags.Nero is there best scorer, passer, rebounder, defender and has the highest IQ.He is not 100%...beside his back they think he's playing with mono...w/o him cannot see Fairfield staying with Saints..

Niagara -7 over Rider ****
Broncos finally woke up but struggled with Peter.I think tonite they get a spanking from the Purple.Nu is quicker, more athletic and in transition will be tough to stop.Thompson had a big game yest.driving down the middle, shooting inside and outside...but he won't get those looks today...The Big E should dominate the bds likehe did yesterday. Also when you have 4 gds like Lewis,Nelson,Garrison and Benn attacking you it causes matchup problems.

Taking both favorites for a rematch tomr nite..The only thing that could occur is that both teams could be looking ahead and forget todays game..

On a personal note...this will be my last post for awhile.....my mother who is 89 is being operated on at Columbia Presb Hos in NYC tomr morning. She has a tumor wrapped around her colon, liver and gall bladder. The doctors think they can get it all out but she has weakend so much these past few weeks....my mother never aged..she went from 75 to 90 in 6 months...
I'll keep you all posted...say a prayer...hopefully she will get through this...

Box,

My dad is 89 and my mother turns 90 in August. I can relate to your anxiety. The bible encourages us to remain strong and be of good courage. Look high and have faith in the Master.

Psalm 46:1-5 ~ "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early."

Psalm 71:18 ~ "Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come."

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words. They mean a lot to me.I was leaving at 5.30 am tomr. for the hospital but my mother was so dehydrated my daughter just drove her to Columbia. She is on an IV and hopefully they can operate tomr....I was just watching a small video out take of Pacino as the coach in "Never on Sunday" in his lockeroom speech...and he says.."when you get old in life you start losing things". How true....just reading here about everyone else's experinces make you think...again thank you all........for some crazy reason being a former alter boy I like saying my prayers in latin...I seem to have a better connection with god in latin.. maybe because everything was so mystic and innocent back then...se libros nos a malo...deliver us from evil....thanks

North Texas won. Think WKU could be in trouble..
watched Siena beat Fairfield....last 10 minutes Saints subbed..so score was a 20 pt game.
Need Niagara now to get a sweep..and if they do tomr nite that will be some game.....GL and thanks again
