Hudson Valley area.....NY
Manhattan -4 over Iona
Jaspers beat them in the Holiday Tourney by 5.MC is coming off a big time loss to Fairfield.Hopes of a NCAA bid went out the window as a possible "bubble team".Jaspers are 9-3 ats away.Lost 2 MAAC games at home to St Petes and the Stags.
Iona is 25 minuts up the Hutchinson River Parkway from the MC campus. Not a far away game.
Iona is loaded with freshman talent. Will start 4 of them today. But as explosive as these kids are defense is a problem. In comes in the best defensive team in the conf. And the No1 offense with Flores.Iona can have an advantage at the gds today but the inside game goes to Manhattan.
I had the game at -2 but it's now 4.So a small play on the Jaspers to rebound after the loss.

Loy-Md +16.5 over Niagara
Niagara is my favorite team in the MAAC.I love Mendez inside,Darden outside and Cruz at the pt.They have the best coach in the conf, playing at home, etc
Loy-Md is 4-17 and 1-11.But after watching them play vs marist last week you can see some of the energy and hustle they have. They have no pt gd and no one can create there own shot. But Jorden,Thomas and Allen impressed me.Siena just blew them out but it was a 10 pt game with a few minuts to go.
Niagara won the 1st time around 60-53.But when Loy-md gets double digit ats they are 5-0.Against Iona 18,Fairfield 15,Marist 12,Manhattan 22,maryland 38. I think 16.5 is a lot of points.Niagara will win but I'll make a small play on the Greyhounds.

The Marquette-Louisville game was great to watch. That was so exciting and when Gaines hits that shot.Wow.The lead changes, the blocked shots, etc.Pitino's defensive pressure was unreal yet Marq handled it.Wade was smothered.Great game.

Last week I mentioned about the top 235 teams and the ats records. The top 9 of 10 won last sat.Well if you look at the bottom 10 its pretty intresting.
Ranked dead last ats is Tulsa at 233rd with a 3-14 record.Towson is next at 3-12.Imagine if we all just jumped on Towson. There is also Temple at 230 and North Texas at 229 with 5-14 records.Marist is at 6-14.Do you guys wonder sometimes why I'm always playing those 2.Of course one is my alma mater and the other just up the road.
But yest in the bottom 10 out of 233 schools the following doormats won.Tulsa,Temple,Alabama and Mass.Of Course Towson got killed again.
Just thought it was intresting.By the way mahattan is ranked 13th in the country with a 13-7 record and Iona 146th with a 7-8-1 record.Niagara is 32nd at 12-8 and Loy Md with an overall record of 4-17 comes in ats in 84th with a 8-6 record.Better then Pitt,Kansas,Purdue,Mizzou and Virginia,XU ,Mich st, who are all right behind them in the 80's and 90's.
And finally,I know I'm boring you guys but if everyone went with the No.1 and 2 teams yest ats you would of won.Wisky and Central Mich at 15-4 and 14-3.
Gl today.both plays are small ones.Have a big one tomr nite.
Getting ready for another snow storm. There are 18 inches on the ground now.Today another 4-6 is expected.
My wife is a Texan. In 2005-6 when I can retire I'm heading south.
Superbook, agree with you on Jaspers but 16.5 is way to many for the Purple. GL today..

Thanks

Thanks

Loyola-Maryland covers again. Lets bring home Manhattan (-3)

Texas is sunny but a tad cool 40. I use to live in North Dakota, so I can feel everyone's pain.
