MAC YTD 149-105-6 58% (44 over...wanna stay over 40 now)
MLs 26-36

Well I have said all year CMU are gonna be MAC Champs...I guess they shall show me tonight how good they really are. Complete team, have the big man who runs like a guard, very smart, can hit his FTs. Got JR Wallace and Mike Manciel who can light it up anytime anywhere. They dont take stupid shots, they are patient and look for a good shot. Josh Edwards and Nate Gerwig are gonna get bitched slapped by Chris Kaman. Look for one of them maybe both to get into major foul trouble...

Game will be on ESPN2 at 7pm. so take your girlfriend or wife...or ditch the women and go with the boys to Damons or your local sports bar and watch what I and the other MACsters have been preaching about all season long. ;)

Central Michigan -1.5

also like Michigan St -5.5:eek:

Nothing to do with the game....but the Bucks are afraid of Kent

NIT could put Bucks at Kent

03/15/03
Bruce Hooley
Plain Dealer Reporter

Chicago- Ohio State does not want to host a first-round National Invitation Tournament game, which could lead to the Buckeyes playing at Kent State on Monday night if neither team wins its respective conference tournament.

"We have a game on Monday night on ESPN and there are four or five possibilities I'm looking at," said Jack Powers, executive director of the NIT. "Ohio State-Kent State is one of those possibilities."

The 40-team NIT field will be announced tomorrow after the announcement of the 65-team NCAA bracket.

Typically, major conference teams like OSU have hosted first-round NIT games in their larger arenas, which feed larger gate receipts for the NIT.

Despite having no scheduling conflict at Value City Arena, Ohio State has told the NIT it prefers not to play at home.

"I'm not so sure we want to host the first round," OSU coach Jim O'Brien said. "I think it's probably a good idea if we go on the road. If we're good enough and we deserve an opportunity to get a third-round game, then we will get a third-round game, if we get that far."

An O'Brien confidant said the OSU coach wants to avoid the public relations damage of hosting and losing to an in-state opponent before a sparse home crowd.

Powers said OSU essentially told him that when discussing the availability of Value City Arena two weeks ago.

"Teams whose fans feel they haven't lived up to expectations sometimes would rather get away from home," Powers said. "Maybe then they get a win or two and come back home for the third round and their fans are buzzing again."

OSU Athletic Director Andy Geiger agrees with O'Brien's decision. "I have no problem with it," Geiger said. "If you get to the place where you have a third-round game, you want to have that at home to hopefully get to New York."

Ahhh the mighty Big 11

Send it - Iam not gonna touch the total...I dont have the best of luck with totals...but if I was to play it, I would go with the under. CMU passes the ball alot.

T-V - :p:p:p:p

Elvis - I think CMU wins because they are truly the most complete team in teh MAC. They have great point guards in JR Wallace and Mike MAnciel....they have the big man Chris Kaman and htey have agreat depth on teh bench that could very well start if asked. Nate Gerwig and Josh Edwards is gonna get bitch slapped by Kaman. And with Kaman in the middle, it`ll alter the shots and game plan of Antonio Gates

Michigan St - Blwo me :D :thefinger

Naaaa....Kaman has faced much more physical play before. Iam sure he`s licking his chops at playing Kent.

**Tired**

If someone is tired for the MAC Championship...then they can take they ass to the Patriot League ;)

Well that was easy.....

Whoever CMU plays in the 1st round -- they would be a FOOL to underestimate this team just becuase they are from the MAC. CMU will win their 1st round game ;) trust me ;)

Nice call. I really enjoyed watching that game (especially since I had CMU and the under

I was very impressed with CMU and will be looking to take them in the 1st & 2nd rds, hopefully vs. a team with weak inside game. Congratulations to you for a great MAC season and GL to CMU unless they play the Terps in which case I will cry and pray
