Central Michigan +7 - The camels back IS STILL STRONG!

Kent St +21.5 - Sandwich game for Big Ben?

Ohio -13.5 - Another misleading score with Kentucky.

Toledo -12.5 - Boy, I cant win playing on or against Ball St it seems like

Akron +10.5 - UConn?

And yes....waiting for BG to drop :D

As soon as I saw the Zips at +11 I asked why,..this should be at least a pk line,...they are a scoring machine and this UCONN team is soft

hellah10 - As always, best of luck this weekend. Only comment I wanted to make was your read on Miami/Kent. Ball State wins 34-17 @Kent, gets destroyed 49-3 this past weekend to Miami and you are taking Kent with the points??? Miami has been an offensive machine averagine 46.6 ppg L6 but the most impressive thing has been their defense. This is by far the best unit since Jo-Juan Armour back when I was there in '96-97. I don't see how Kent is going to score 21 points as we can give Miami 38-42 points easily in my mind. I'm eager to get your take on this game aside from Miami looking ahead to their next 3 games.

Keep up the good work.

bigdad - your right about the Hawks. They are a scoring machine lately, and they are looking veryyy sharp. But I look at this as a sandwich game, as they have BG next week - which could decide alot of things obviously. But I think everybody on this forum knows how high I look upon Josh Cribbs. I dont think Miami can contain him, like teams in the past havent. I capped this game at around 17...so Iam content with 3 TDs. Its not a strong play - but I`ll take 3 TDs and Josh Cribbs. good luck :)

Kind of liking CFU myself. Schneider is back and after getting back in the flow last week started to look pretty good leading them back into the game in the second half.

While the Golden Night defense is a bit poriferous and lacking discipline. I don't see the Chppps having the weaponry to take advantage of them.

Trip to Florida always a distraction as well.

CFU -7 for me

Best of luck as always:cool:

Definitely worth watching and you were right on the money that it would drop to -3 at some places. Nice work again.

Scott - If you are so sure about NIU winning then why should they bother playing the game? Bottom line is, he was right about the line dropping and you were wrong about the line movement, that is all I was posting. As for who wins the game, it is a no play for me. GL with your plays this week Scott.

They will play the game and I will be watching closely.

If we dont understand the real reason why the line dropped .5 then it dont make a tinkers damn anyways.

We will see if BG's QB Josh H can step up to the plate in this game.

Good luck to you this week also.

Sold Out!!!!
Department to hold 9,000 tickets for expected student turnout

Oct. 21, 2003

Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU athletic department has announced that public sale for all reserved seat and general admission tickets for Saturday's 4 p.m. football game featuring #23 Bowling Green and #12 Northern Illinois has stopped. While the sale to the public has ended, the department is expecting a student turnout of more than 9,000 and is prepared to accommodate those who present a valid BGSU student ID once the gates open at 2:30 p.m.

"I think this is a tremendous situation for us and the entire University community," said BGSU Director of Athletics Paul Krebs. "Our students have historically made up close to a third of our average attendance at home football games and their support means a lot to our team. It should make for an outstanding Family Weekend on our campus."

Last year, home football games would attract more than 5,000 students per contest.

Student Ticket Policy Statement From BGSU Athletics For This Weekend's Football Game

"While the BGSU vs. NIU game has officially sold out, the procedure for BGSU students will not change from any other home football game. Students with a VALID ID that are registered for the Fall Semester will be admitted to the game after showing their ID at the gate. All students will be checked at the gate. No valid students will be turned away and standing room areas have been identified in the unlikely case that there are no seats available. As with all of our fans for Saturday, students are encouraged to get to the game and enter the gates early to ensure themselves enough time to comfortably get to their seats and get situated prior to kick off. Gates open at 2:30 p.m."
