MAC YTD 125-85-6 60%
MLs 20-27

Miami(OH) -1

Eastern Michigan +12.5

Western Michigan -6

Ohio -4

Toledo +6: Ok this info isnt what I woulda consider "inside info" - more like "rare info". I heard this during the coaches show on Thursday....

If you track back to like the last 15 games for the Rockets...you can CLEARLY see that they are not a 5-10(MAC) team. They coulda easily be 10-5 - butttt they lost all those close games in the end with like a minute or less left. Wether it was fatigue, lack of a brain...whatever the case maybe, they werent finishing it at the end. I guess I know why. 4 days before the Buffalo game they hired or added a Nutritionist to the team...it seems that the players just had a terrible diet and werent eating the right things to give them that extra boost of energy which could be the big difference in a game. In fact, Phil Alexander(foward) only ate 1 fawking meal a day...no breakfast, no lunch...come dinner time he would eat 1 big ass meal to serve like 3. Thats not good lol. Throughtout the day the players would just snack...and come gametime - that energy wouldnt be there. So I think this Nutritionist is gonan help them in everyway...because we have all played sports...and we have all played very competitvly...and we all know donuts wont cut it for ya....even if you are playing up to 11 by 2's :p

Take that info whichever way suits ya....but I think its great

ohhh and no opionon on Kent :nono:

big 11 master - thx, u the same

wizz - due to the inconsistency of ohio's play and sonny johnons injury(which dont mean shit to me) and possible "let down" after thrilling victory over ACC virginia...

ohio just dont seem to get up for these type of games....big games - they play big time.

but the last few times ohio has been firing on all cylinders...even at the free throw line

Interested in your take on Western. Ball St is playing pretty well right now winning 7-straight and 9 out of 10. They've only lost 1 game by more than 5 points in a month and a half. I actually have Ball St the better team right now on a neutral court and they are avenging a home loss to Western earlier in the year when they were playing awful. In fact, this was the 7th and final loss on that dreaded 0-7 SU streak they went through. Recent series results are pretty close to even, so Ball IS capable of winning there. I think Western is STILL getting way too much respect.

Like Ohio, Mia-Oh and Eastern though and lean to Toledo. Just can't see anything to support a 6 point Western win. Little help?

I like the matchups. With Mike Williams going against Chris Williams and Anthony Kaan going against Matt McCollum.
This team is based on defense 1st...offense 2nd. They have one of the best Ds (statistically) in the nation. They create alot...and I mean ALOT of turnovers and unforce errors on their opponets. IMO - I think BSU getting too much respect. I capped this line at around 10. Chris Williams maybe a All World candidate....but this Western D is one of the best.

Obviously home court is a big deal...and Western has pretty good fan support...but not like what BSU has in Muncie.

Plus if Western gets this win....it`ll get them into 3rd...a step closer to a buy in the MAC Tourney

I really want to lock and load on Miami OH.
I always like there chances cause of their style play.
Any reason why not play big this game?
Thanks in advance

MF - Cuz BG is very tough at home. They have a damn high school gym(seems like) and that place just gets way too loud...even for me. Student section behind the visitors bench..and everything else homecourt offers.

Plus Miami sucks on the road...

but I like Miami

I had explained why I like those 2 teams earlier in thread...but just for you...i`ll repeat it ;)

Ohio cuz that Virginia game will be that difference maker, that momentum maker.

Miami(OH) to keep hold of first place...

simple as that :D
