MAGIC/LAKERS Under 206 - While I realize that Orlando has the worst defense in the NBA, the fact remains that the Under has been a Cash Cow in Lakers home games this season, going an unbelievable 22-5-2, 81.5%! The primary reason for this is the perception that the Lakers are a wide-open team, thus resulting in inflated lines like this one. However, the Lakers are winning with DEFENSE at home this year, allowing only 88.2 points per game here at Staples. These clubs only combined to score 194 points in their first meeting this season, and while the Lakers were without Shaq for that game, it is still a nice feeling to know that if these clubs score around 200 points, it would still be safely Under this fat number. Granted, the Magic are allowing 103.0 points per game on the road, but they are only averaging 95.2 points themselves, and they will probably have trouble reaching that figure vs. this LA defense.

shaq did in fact play the first meeting at Orlando, i remember cause it was a sunday game and Mcgrady went for 35 pts--because shaq;s slow As? couldn't hedge out on the pick and roll and Mcgrady had a field day. Lakers made a big comeback in the 4th to steal the game. However Kobe or Malone did not play. That day the line was lakers -3 and went to 4.5--and the total was 201.5 and dropped to 200 right before the game. The game went under 98-96 final.

ur right innavation, just checked it. maybe gene missed it?

Shaquille O'Neal checked back in with 5:56 remaining after sitting out since the beginning of the quarter, and his layup 21 seconds later put the Lakers ahead 88-87 -- their first lead since 31-30.

O'Neal had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

``This is a win we should not be proud of,'' O'Neal said. ``We won by two, but we should've beat this team by 20 or 30.''

yeah mize it was a sunday game and the lakers(especially shaq ) looked tired. I think them being at home with The whole team back, we will se the lakers running up and down the floor tonight. Just like they did at the begginning of the year. I wouldn't be surprized if they put up 60 at in the first half---Orlando plays no d and they will shoot 3's---got to like the over tonight with the whole team being back. lets see if i can get close to this one.Lakers 116 Orlando 95. Lakers in a big mismatch game at home. With the whole team back--i see a show they put on for the fans.
