Qualifying match ups:

With current forecast as for showers for the whole weekend there is one that i like. Remember, with the new qualifying rule i'm taking a chance but these drivers are from the same team so i expect the same strategy for both. (if not then i hope we will be on the good one!).

Frentzen -135 over heidfeld (3 units) OLY

Frentzen is much better on wet track than Heidfeld and is the better driver. Yes, Heidfeld qualified well here last year but there wasn't any rain during the qualifying...;)

Anyhow, good luck if you try it!:)

Thanks, buddy! Saw one SIA line that caught my eye. Any reason that Fisi wouldn't be better than a 50/50 shot at +100 to beat Webber for the RACE this week?

Race Matchup

M Webber 18/25 G Fisichella 1/1

Later, dude.

1837 please accept my apology for the hatred that has been shown towards your people by my fellow country men. There is good and bad in us all. And I'm sorry to say at this time more bad than good.:(

You don't have to apologize Grooven, there are assholes everywhere, even in sports gaming. It is just hard to see how stupids some can be by saying hatred comments like the one i've read this evening...  :( People should reflect and know what they are talking about before opening their mouths... Don't worry, i'll get over with it!:)

I'm not sure why they decided to keep the bets open during free practice 2.1 but closed during 2.2

I like your Trulli bet but I don't like the Firman bet. Pizzonia had troubles yesterday but he was faster today than Firman and I haven't been at all impressed with Firman.

If I can find a book that still is taking pole position bets I think I may take a shot at Juan Montoya.

in the past oly has kept the qualifying mu's open until the end of 1st practice. maybe they are able to get some action from the unwary that may place too much emphasis on 1fp. this year though who knows how much practice is going to reflect on qualifying results.

If I'm interpreting the rules correctly, Firman is a winner over Pizzonia. Pizzonia in 19th after today's run.

Recap: 1-3 Can we say slap in the face?:( Should have known better with that new qualifying rule that it isn't the same anymore... Unless there is a GEM in these next qualifying events i'm staying away from it. Sorry guys for the bad picks :(

No biggy, man. Seems the qualifying has gotten real tricky for sure. Who on earth could have predicted this front row?

without knowing who is going to run a light fuel load in qualifying, it is a crapshoot. teammate vs teammate might be a bit more predictable as they will most likely (but not necessarily) be using the same strategy

Sounds good 1837. Can you also give your opinions on the CART race? I think Bourdais is a virtual lock. Tracy starts second but he crashed in practice and will be using an untested backup car for the race tomorrow. He decided not to qualify with the new car today or he would have lost his place on the front row. Junqueira hasn't been particularly fast all weekend and Carpentier will start near the back after not qualifying today due to illness. Vasser also starts near the back if he can find a car.

FWIW, here are my picks for the Cart race:

To win - Bourdais

Matchups - Dominguez over Haberfield, Servia over Fernandez

There's also an IRL race tomorrow but I have no opinion on it. I liked Hornish a bit before qualifying but starting 17th he presents no value. Leaning a bit now to Andretti.
