For those that didnt see it, Karl still in street clothes as Lakers take the court. Hit up Piston at -3 for another 2units. Without Malone, playing at least some minutes, even poorly, the Lakers are even more shallow, spread should be -5 or 6

Without Malone, Lakers will be able to run. Pistons are faster and more athletic. Malone hurt Lakers in that area. Wallace might have another good game but will Kobe have another bad game? Will the role players hit their open shots? We shall soon find out!

When you become dependent on Medvedenko and Cook, you are in BIG trouble. Shaq on the bench, you've got nobody.
I was surprised that the line didnt move more as soon as Malone was out for sure, but thats just me.
As long as the officials do the fine job they have for the first 4 1/2 games, the Lakers are toast. They better not switch now, Ive got plenty riding on the game and the series on Pistons.
