Nice spring day in the northeast, huh? Snowing hard right now. So sick of this $hitty weather. Anyway, on to the important stuff.

Taking Brewers -117

Like Capuano v. Milton match-up.

I know Capuano has traditionally struggled against the reds but I like him in this spot.

Milton, who is 16-24 with a 5.90 ERA in 61 career starts since joining the Reds in 2005

Milton (0-1, 6.35 ERA), who started on the disabled list with lower back spasms, allowed four runs and 10 hits in 5 2-3 innings in the Reds' 6-3 loss to Pittsburgh on April 8.

Though Milton has not won Aug. 8, he's had some success against the Brewers, going 4-3 with a 3.93 ERA in eight career starts.

Chris Capuano (1-0, 4.35 ERA) has struggled against the Reds, going 1-3 with a 6.30 ERA in five career starts. The left-hander allowed two earned runs in 5 1-3 innings to earn the win in Milwaukee's 9-4 win over Chicago on April 8.

Adding Mets -102

Adding Mets -102

Garcia in season debut, started on 15-day disabled list with right biceps tendinitis. John Maine (1-0, 1.54 ERA) has looked good.

Phils are a trainwreck waiting to happen every game. I'll take my chances at even money with the much better team.

adding cubbies -118

adding cubbies -118

Gut feeling. Just like to cubs to win in this spot. Also like the pitching match-up.

Hensley has pitched poorly, losing twice to the San Francisco Giants while giving up a total of 11 runs and failing to pitch through the fifth inning.

Last Tuesday, the 27-year-old right-hander gave up six runs - four earned - in 4 1-3 innings of a 6-5 loss, but denied a blister on his middle finger that developed in his season debut was bothering him.

The Cubs will send Jason Marquis to the mound on Monday. Marquis (0-1, 3.27) allowed three of his four runs in the first inning of his last outing, a 4-2 loss to Houston on Tuesday. He finished the day yielding four runs - three earned - four hits, and four walks in five innings of work.

The right-hander is 2-2 with a 4.63 ERA in five career appearances, including four starts, against the Padres.
