Anyone else see it? Was it just me or did Floyd look nervous or dare I say it scared? Something didn't seem right. On the other hand you have a cool as a cucumber Pacman. Snacking away as Floyd steps on the scale.

What really got me though was Manny saying "thank you" to Mayweather and for the first time ever recorded mayweather has no comment

can't read much into weighins unless the guy can't make weight like castillo in the failed third fight with corrales

only dude I know that can read weighins is a guy named, "readerofthegame"

but no sightings of him lately after his cold spell

This "Reader Man" you speak of must not post much in nfl/nba/mlb too often because i have not heard of him. He must be wise

True cant tell much and ive been wrong before tryung to judge it.

Havent watxhed any hype build up to this fight until this week. That machine Mayweather gets in befire his workouts is outlandish. I really wabt to try it

hopefully, this fight delivers some drama and/or fireworks

so the casual fans enjoy boxing for a bit when it's under the spotlight before they get jaded again

I wonder what scott thinks about this fight...

If and only if boxing had one commision, one belt per weightclass, and ultimately one person in charge the sport can be saved. But i doubt that will happen. Its not the way money is made in boxing

Do you believe Floyd was ever hesitant in his career about fighting Manny because he felt he would lose?

yes, manny was favored to win years ago

bert sugar said that was the reason that put doubts in floyd's mind

floyd is a cherry picker, he wants all the concessions, he wants the slope always in his favor and at a huge incline towards him, he loves to be the huge favorite

in the ring, he has supreme confidence, but as you can see with his money persona and personal issues, he is far from confident in the real world

I agree that's what mayweather is all about being a successful businessman, and done a heck of a job at it.

To me the real reason he never made the fight is because pacs style is all wrong for him and he knows it.

He's had excuse after excuse year after year but no more excuses tomorrow night Floyd. You can run but you can't hide

he could have fought margarito when both were with top rank for 8 million, he should have fought casamayor, freitas... all those fights were too tough for him. arum said floyd knows more about boxing than anyone

he ended up fighting henry bruseles, philip n'dou, beat up a worn out gatti

gatti didn't even win a second, it was a horrific mismatch

he fought zab judah after judah lost to baldomir, then fought baldomir after

he made hatton go up in weight, canelo go down, didn't make weight for the marquez fight, huge size difference toyed with marquez

That is awesome! I wish you, the people of the Philippines and your countryman all the good spirits tonight. Manny deserves this and everything that is going to come with it. You want to talk about greatness? Pacman is the GREATEST fighter you, I or anyone else has seen for at least 25 years. Regardless of the outcome tonight, if I had an all time great p4p list, Pacman would rank higher than ANY current fighter today. HE'S the special one and if people can't see that by now I don't know what the hell you've been watching the past 14 years.

Pacman = Legend/icon

Quite possibly the worst string of PPV fights I have ever witnessed. Making your PPV debut against a battered and bruised Gatti? C'mon man that was a joke. Zab put up a decent fight for the first few rounds, but other than that it was a complete cake walk.

Margarito?? :mj07: Floyd would not have fought that man if he came to the ring on crutches. The night Manny obliterated the tornado should go down as one of the greatest nights in boxing history. It was on the same level as Tyson/Spinks in terms of domination. I think Manny could have taken out a super middleweight that night.

Floyd has always said his toughest fight ever was against Emanuel Augustus. His puches came from unordinary angles making it difficult for Floyd to dodge or counter. Augustus put plenty of gloves on Floyd when Floyd was 5 times faster than he is now.

I stayed up until 3am last night watching analysis/expert picks on this fight and the two points in favor of Manny that have stood out to me:

1. The people that have given Manny trouble were Marquez and Bradley. Both of those fighters throw over 100 punches per round. Last time I checked were money's work rate is a little bit less than that.

2. You need to find your range and I think Manny is the best qualified to do that against Floyd. Manny has been GREAT at doing this in almost all of his fights.

I swear 90% of every person picking Floyd have the same analysis...Floyds gonna stay on the outside and pot shot him. That's it. well that's not going to work tonight. Floyd is going to have to fight.

I have a theory on what's really going on here tonight, but I don't want to jinx anything. I'll share after the fight is over whether I'm right or wrong

think manny will be leading first half of the fight

then floyd has to walk him down and really dig in some hard shots, push manny back

bully manny late to salvage a draw or dec

if this is the most exciting fight in floyd's career, then I will be happy because everyone who is watching will be satisfied

"the bunker"
gonna be a chessmatch like most Floyd fights.....

both are almost always the quicker fast twitch guy......that won`t be the case here for one....

Floyd`s defense, height and reach probably tip it his way(although the southpaw stance of manny may negate Floyd`s jab a bit)....
