SA- already on another thread.

TP- Grey Comet will be bet and be very difficult to beat here. Lone negative is he hasn't raced over that surface and some horses just don't handle that track. He's 1st Lasix and I'm guessing will be 3-2 or less. I'm looking at an exacta with him over Grand, who I believe will be overlooked. Grand won a race by 23 over the dirt track at Wolverhampton (UK) then shipped to Woodbine and ran 3rd behind Wando, who was Canada's top 2 YO last year. In fact, I will box these 2.

Haw-Opening day and the "stake" is basically a classified allowance. Thats ok; all older male horses I'm expecting Gold Taker to be favored off his FG races. He's fast and really just has one other horse to beat out of the gate, Meandmyloveman. But that horse really loves Hawthorne (5 wins in 10 career Haw starts) and I expect trainer Reavis to have him fully cranked. Still Be Smoking is the logical closer if both the speeds stop. Nice pattern moving forward and rider comes in from Kentucky.

Aqu- I want to see the odds before I bet here. On paper it looks like a 3 horse race between Xtra Heat, Cyber Secret and Elegant Designer. But ED's last race was at Sam Houston so she may be value here. At over 5-1 she's worth a play. But she's never 2-turned so I must get a price to use her. Cyber Secret may get clear here. Usually 3YO filly 2 turn races have lots of sprinters and speedballs but this race really doesn't have an abundance of that.

GP-another good card at GP but the stake isn't great with only 6 horses. The only way I'll play this race is as the bottom or middle of a Pick 3. Allamericanbertie looks like lone speed and will be very tough to beat here.

FG- haven't looked over this one very much but Snow Dance looks like the class (13 turf starts 6 wins 3 2nd $673K earnings) and Caught in the Rain (4 turf starts 3 wins $173K) is solid but 2 of her wins were on yielding or good. If the turf is soft she moves up but I'll downgrade her if its firm. Histoire Saint and Quick Tip fell behind a very slow pace in a 5 horse field. Spectacular Dove was the beneficiary of that slow pace and she must be severely downgraded.

OP-interesting 3 YO stake. Great Notion does appear to be the controlling speed and speed at 1 mile at OP is king with the finish line at the 1/16th pole. The trainer decided to ship his stable to OP so this horse could run in their 3YO stake series. Cosmic Truth is the legit off the pace horse and may be value coming in from Delta, although he has two straight 98 Beyers.
