You guys got any good ones? I honestly haven't had tequilla in 15 years, but made some cranberry margaritas last night that weren't too bad, but I'm sure you guys can do better.

What kind of tequilla do you prefer as well? Oh, and TheBoys, no I can't fly to mexico to hire an aztec ancient to make it personally for me.

So. Cal
for blended margs, keep it simple

3/4 blender of ice
1/2 blender of petrone silver
1/4 belnder of marg mix

blend
serve
repeat

add fresh strawberries for a change of pace.

E of Ball State
3 parts green mix
1 part tequila
1/2 part triple sec
1/4 part gran mariner
1/4 part galliano
serve over ice
use a brandname green mix such as J Cuervo, decent tequila and substitute Gran Gala for Gran
Mariner if you can find it - 30% savings.

Silver Patron tequila
Gran Mariner
Fresh squeezed lime juice
powder sugar to taste (not much)

Shake the shit out of this with ice and pour in half salted-rim glass

I love tequila, Patron is decent but you mainly pay for the bottle also it was founded by Paul Mitchell (the shampoo dude) circa 1989. I prefer El Tesoro the Camarena family has been creating the cactus juice in the Jalisco region for generations.

A slight variation from the original recipe but better with Grand Marnier in leau of Cointreau. Fresh lime juice and sugar is the key instead of that crappy Americanized mix.

Excellent!

agree with above posts, patron is my favorite, does get expensive for maragaritas though.

You sons of bitches just cost me some nice coin at the liquor store!

got me in the mood for margeuritas. I did skimp a little and went with Suaza which has always been a nice, cheaper tequila.

Since the weather is ABSOLUTELY perfect for drinking outside, I also picked up some Bacardi.

So a bag of limes, sugar, salt, Sauaza, Grand Mariner, Bacardi, and ice makes for a night of margueritas and mojitos (have a mint plant growing on my back porch). Damn, I am going to feel terrible tomorrow!!
