Foxes beat Columbia the othe nite before losing to Colgate by 14 and Stoney Brook by a few...WV has been off almost 10 days since getting blown out by Zaga...Just what Huggy Bear needed...a big loss and 10 days to reload...
Red Foxes are basically the same team as last yr...Kemp the 6'10 post player has improved somewhat but is still limited..Foxes have 7 gds...and Kemp... a few of those gds they call swingmen..the biggest swingman are all 6'5 and 6'6...Price and Lewis can score but every nite someone will have a big game and the others are lost....Foxes have big time trouble on offense..Martin has had 4 losing seasons in a row...thank god he got rid of the Memphis offense...dribble,penetrate,kick out for the jumper...2 yrs of that gave him 20 losses..they do set screens now..he will play a little man/man but rely on his 2-3 or 1-2-2 zone...
WV has 2 or 3 pts gds that can push the ball up...losing Jones is big but the big stud is Murray at 6'10 from Lasalle...he can do everything inside and outside...Also BC transfer Humphrey will be tough...Kilicli is another 6'9 post player...Foxes have no post defense what so ever...pound it inside and Huggy Bear always has his 3 pt shooters loading their muskets from the 3 pt line
Game is at Disney in Orlando....WV should coast in this game and win by 20...big time exposure for the Foxes on national tv...but Kemp is all by himself in the paint....
On a personal note....today Rebecca my youngest daughter turns..23....she has worked at Disney for just under a year..on Friday she got news that she was selected over many applicants as a concierge at one of the top hotels ( Grand Floridian} in Disney....she starts next week...she currently works at the "Carribean" resort....she gets big time discounts so if anyone goes down there let me know....she gets 40% off hotels and I think 20% off park tickets....
Its been one week since I've been in Austin...its a different life down here...read the book " Life of Pi"...movie comes out soon...think I'm going to start a " Life of Box ".....
Wife and daughter are running in the Austin Turkey Trot ....have to leave in a few minutes...I have baby duty with my Molly Wray...Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving...its going to be in the low 80's...
