FLORIDA MARLINS +100 - The defending World Champion Marlins currently own the best record in baseball at 14-7, which in itself makes them a fine investment at this price vs. the 9-13 Giants. Penny has begun the season with 4 consecutive Quality Starts, and he has an outstanding 2.36 ERA and 1.01 ratio with an impressive 28 strikeouts in 26.2 innings. Considering that San Francisco has a modest team batting average here at home of .248, I like Penny to continue his fine pitching today. Williams is also off to a nice start for the Giants, with a 3.95 ERA and 1.06 ratio in 4 starts. However, he has not been nearly as impressive as Penny, as evidenced by the fact that he has just 14 strikeouts in 27.1 innings. Also, he lasted just 2 innings in his only start against Florida last year, allowing 3 earned runs and 6 Men on Base in a 7-6 Marlins victory.
