NT in total disarray....Herd has to much firepower for the Mean Green.....they got luck last week getting 2 late TD's with 5 minutes to go...

Memphis -11.5 over Tulsa ****
Canes couldn't stop ECU....will have bigger problems with the Tigers as long their heads aren't to swollen.

Cinncy -12.5 over UConn ****
Huskies have no offense,decent defense...Bears have both and should win this by 2-3 td's.

Rice -10 over Army ****
Bucknell had Army beat until last qrt play...Rice is to athletic and quicker..

Texas -4 over KSU ***
Heard takes advantage of KSU defense..Bevo woke up...for now..

Pirates in for a tough Temple team...need to stop Owls top rb...but ECU has that two prong attack,playing at home..great wr's,etc

Ga Southern +6.5 over Appa St **
Think Ga South running game keeps this close

Rice -7 over Army ****
This is the worst Army team in years...their wishbone cannot get on track....no fullbacks inside and outside speed is avg..no Dixon,Baggett and Maples..last week they pulled out a 21-14 win vs Bucknell at home..lost to Fordham on opening day...two D1 AA teams...Army has been lucky getting some covers...Vs UConn they couldn't move the ball....with 2 minutes left on the army 25 the Husky cb steps in on a down and out 10 yd pass..instead of containing the wr.. Army score on a 70 yd Td run down the sideline...lost cover..vs Wake Forest on the 2nd play of the game the WF Qb gets injured...out for the game..they did blow away Eastern Mich but so has everybody else..Penn St game.. both starting rb's are out ..Army defense does play tough and Penn St wins 20-13..Army covers again...next is duke and the dukies blow away the Nites 44-3.. Last week Army is a 27 pt favorite and wins by 7...
Last year Rice won up at the point 41-21 with jackson throwing 3 td's...he is a dual threat Qb and that gives army big time problems..Rice has two solid rb's.. Army qb AJ is terrible...fumbling,throwing ints,etc Bradshaw the frosh who was benched will play because he can run...
Owls weakness is the def backfield vs the pass...that is one thing Army can't do...
Weather is a factor with heavy rains in Texas....but the rain I think will effect Army more because I think they lead the nation in fumbles..Rice has a good qb with good rb's...think the Owls win this by 2-3 tds...

Toledo -14.5 over Umass **
UMass at home couldn't beat Kent...think they have their hands full stopping Toledo. Ely and rbs are tough..

Navy -24 over Tulane ***
Navy Blue waves destroys Green Waves... could be a category 5 coming up from the Pacific.

Marshall -28 over North Texas ****
This line dropped a few..not sure why..
NT defense has given up 31,38,62,48,66,and last week 55...I know the Herd hasn't played anybody but they have a decent ground game..

Texas-Kansas St --liked Texas but going to pass due to weather predictions..maybe later get an update

Houston -21.5 over Cen Florida ***
Another category 5 play with Ward in the eye of the hurricane.

Texas St -2 over So bama **
Bobcats have to win this at home
Texas Tech +14.5 over OU ** { weather ?} TT can't throw in heavy rain}
Indiana +16.5 over Mich St **

Thanks Dog Lover....my wife is up in Paris,Texas at her HS reunion...she said it took her almost 6 hours to get to Dallas from Austin last night with the heavy rains..... the line went to Texas -7 .. I played it earlier in the week at -4...not sure why it jumped...
Going down for Thanksgiving....and X-mas...not sure if UT has any home games during the X-mas break...but I will go...hope all is well with you guys down there...we had our 2nd frost last night...the winter is coming...

Looks like Shaka is excited about what he has to work with. Didn't go to the Orange/White scrimmage, but a frosh guard named Roach really impressed. Also I. Taylor is fitting well into the plans. I don't have the schedule in front of me, but I do believe we have at least one home game during your visit. Hope to see you then. DL
