What to take? Any ideas?
I personally like Akron a lot. I am aware they lost to the Herd on the road pretty handedly early February. But Akron is at home tonight and they have beat 3 quality teams consecutively. Is the line so low due to the fact the Herd beat Akron earlier? To me I Akron seems to have a good chance to win and cover. Any angles one may know to help my confirmation. by all means - Your comments are welcomed.

Well the whole Marshall beating Akron thing is totally different then what it is now. Andy Hipsher being back REALLY...and I mean REALLY gives a huge boost to this team. Plus its at the JAR and not in Hickington....

last years game at the JAR was a 104-87 game- so if nothing else, itll be a fun game tonight.

zips are a completely different team at home, so dont blame you for likin em.

Akron -4'

The Zips are coming off back to back road wins over CMU and Kent State. Since switching to a 2-3 matchup zone they are defending much much better. Also coach Hipsher has inserted freshman Rob Preston into the starting lineup. The reason for this move is to draw the opposing center away from the paint as Preston can drain 15-18 ft jumpers all day. This is what negated Kamans presence in the CMU game. The Zips have always rebounded poorly so this moves narrows the gap a bit.

Also a big factor in the Zips improved play is that Andy Hipsher is finally healthy and playing well, and Johnny Hollingsworth has found new life after a mid season funk.

Like the Zips to keep it going tonight against Marshall who blew Akron out in probably The Zips poorest game this season a short time ago

Hell it sounds to me if it is a loser I may not be the only one. But that is being entirely too negative. I should have said it appears I may not be the only winner. Thanks for the comments. Did not see a lot on Akron prior to my post (mainly due to I only have 1.5 hours to research and place 'em in. GL
