?I?m always reminded how tough this place can be,? Gordon said. ?I was reminded early this year when we qualified fourth and dropped back at the beginning. The track wasn?t taking rubber. We fought through tire wear and the balance of the car through the first half of the race but were able to find our way back to the front until we had the issue on pit road (he finished ninth).
?That to me was great because we were grinding it out like we have been this year. If we do everything right, we have a real legitimate shot at not only winning this weekend but going on to Homestead.?

Here`s where the 24 has to swing for the fence!! If he gets that clock ..he has a chance with the big picture. what better way to go out! He will need to make the most of the pit stops!
