MARYLAND -2 - The Terps are rather lucky to be here after beating NC-Wilmington on a desperation shot at the buzzer. However, keep in mind that teams that advance despite losing ATS in the post season and are then favored next game are 79-61, 56.4%. This angle went 4-1 on Saturday, winning with Marquette, Oklahoma, Kansas and Duke, losing only with Illinois. Also bear in mind that the ACC is now 6-1 S/U in this tournament, and 7-1 in the post season if you factor in North Carolina?s win in the NIT. Conversely, Xavier was the only Atlantic 10 team to advance out of the first round, as St. Joseph?s and Dayton were both upset. The Musketeers weren?t all that impressive either, managing just a Push in a 12-point win over an inferior Troy State team.
